How to Sign up and Login to Facebook
Now, let’s take a look at registering a new account at Facebook step by step:
Registration on Facebook takes place directly on the home page at www.Facebook.com. The registration form can be found on the right side of the page, if you register with a computer, see the picture:
- Completely and correctly fill in all fields. You must have access to the email address or telephone number you enter. When filling out the date of birth, it will be chcecked whether you are at least 13 years olf. After completing the information, click on the “Sign up” button below the form.
- In the next step, you will be prompted to log in to your email. You can omit this step and it’s there just so Facebook can retrieve contacts from your email. Again, this is completely optional.
- You will recieve via email/phone a numeric code you need to fill in to complete your registration. This step is final and now you have a brand new account.
You can log in to your profile directly at www.Facebook.com at the top right of the page. Sign in by filling in your email address and your chosen password. If both are entered correctly, you will be logged in to your profile immediately.
Facebook Download and Install Official App for Free
Download and install Facebook app from official sources only. For mobile and tablets running Android, it is Google Play. For devices running iOS, that is iPhone and iPad, it is the App Store. All other sources are risky and may be a scam. By downloading from Google Play or the App Store, your app will always be up to date.
You still need to decide whether you want the Facebook app and also the Messenger app to chat, or Facebook Lite, which is all-in-one but without some extra features.

Go to www.Facebook.com – The Only Official FB Site
Facebook.com is the only correct and official Facebook site. No other versions are true and they may be scammers/hackers who want you to enter your Facebook password on their site.
For example, if you get a link in an email or anywhere else, make sure you’re really on Facebook.com.
Facebook is translated into a number of languages that may have their own site versions. For the US, this version is www.facebook.com, but for Germany it is de-de.facebook.com, for France it is fr-fr.facebook.com, for the Czech Republic it is cs-cz.facebook.com and so on, however, this site domain always ends with Facebook.com.
Make sure you do not accidentally pass your password to someone who has created pages that just resemble Facebook. This type of attack is called phishing and is actually extremely common.
m.Facebook.com – Mobile Version on Browser without an Application
If you want to connect to FB via mobile devices without using an application, there is a mobile version at m.facebook.com. However, this version has significantly fewer features and can not, for example, use chat.
Similarly, the use of a web-based mobile version is not very convenient and many features are lacking compared to the full version on a computer or mobile app. So, if you use Facebook frequently on your mobile, it’s better to download the app without any limitations on features.
Facebook Logo on Home Page
If you are looking for a Facebook logo, you can find it directly on the Facebook homepage. If you are looking for a large logo at high resolution, you can use some of the photo banks where people store the logos and where they can be freely downloaded and used.
Pixabay.com is a very good site where you just need to find the logo you are looking for and you will get a number of results from which you choose the one that best suits your needs.
- As for the FB logo, you can find it in good quality here.
- You can also download Facebook logo from Wikipedia.org.
Search and Find Friends
Facebook is a place where you can find new and old friends and share photos, videos, stories, and also events. Thanks to the fact that Facebook has a huge number of users, you can find and restore old contacts and find your classmates or colleagues you have not talked with for a long time.
If you are looking for friends you would like to contact, Facebook is the right place to look first.
